1) After opening your netscape browser open your mail.
2) Open the Edit menu and choose Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings.
3) You see the Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings dialog box.
Configure the following fields as noted:

Your Name: |
Firstname Lastname |

Your Email:

username@imailbox.com
|
|
Your Reply-to Address:
|
username@imailbox.com
|
|
Your Organization:
|
Anything you want to place here (optional).

Signature File:
|
Create a text file with your 'signature' and specify that filename
here. You can do this later(optional).

Now click on Mail Servers and configure the following items:

Incoming Mail Servers:
|
incoming.imailbox.com
|
|
Server type:
|
POP3
|
|
Outgoing Mail (smtp) Server:
|
outgoing.imailbox.com
|
|
Outgoing mail server Username:
|
username
|
|
Mail Server Type:
|
POP3
|
|
User Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) or TLC
|
Never
|

Configuring SMTP Authentication
|
1) Open the Edit menu and choose Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings.
2) You see the Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings dialog box.
3) Select the Outgoing Server (SMTP) category.
Server name: outgoing.imailbox.com
Port: 25
User name: select this option then enter your user name.
Note: The first time you send mail, you will be prompted to enter your password.
